"I first came to Shelly Allen with a blanket of uncertainty, insecurities, and just an overall sense of doubt surrounding my worth and purpose. Although today, with the help of Shelly’s guidance, I have been able to dig up some of the falsehoods, I genuinely believed that good things in this life were never going to be for me.
But Shelly helped guide and lead me to believe that I deserve a seat at any table. That I not only can find but deserve to be showered with love, to be supported, to have peace and ultimately to be given the grace that the Lord so freely gives to his children.
Through my time in knowing and working with Shelly, she has constantly instilled in me that I will receive all the beautiful thing’s life has to offer. She has given me tools to help me reframe my thoughts so that I can rest in happiness, and she’s allowed me to see that I am the diamond and helped me to act like it. She is one of the most selfless and giving people I have ever come across and her compassion, love and care has never wavered. It speaks volumes about who God has placed her on this earth to be.
Sometimes people are only placed in your life for seasons, but Shelly’s impact will be felt throughout my lifetime."

"My wife and I went to Shelly Allen with various issues within our marriage. Originally, we were concerned that we were having a breakdown in communication that lead to us continuously not being on the same page. After hearing us out, Shelly provided us with resources and exercises for us to complete.
Honestly, I thought some of it was a bit simplistic and obvious but after actually reading through the materials and doing the exercises my preconceptions were dissuaded. Those exercises helped us understand each other and made us both realize that our communication styles were entirely different which was the source of our communication issues.
Shelly also helped us individually. Which in my case was a very uncomfortable but necessary dive into my childhood and the relationship between myself and my father. Overall, after a few sessions with Shelly our marriage is stronger than it has been in some time and we are in a much better place than we started.
I would highly recommend Shelly to any couple having issues within their relationship as well as any individual who needs a patient, understanding ear to listen."

"Shelly Allen has been my therapist for a couple of months now and I am so glad I found her!
She has helped me tackle my debilitating depression and anxiety with coping mechanisms that actually work and has helped me think on a logical level rather than a complete emotional one.
I have recommended her to at least 3 people already because that is how confident in her abilities as a therapist. I will continue to trust her with my mental health because she is professional, personable, and very knowledgeable.
I am forever grateful to have found her!"
